It’s international Saturday again already! And it’s the bank holiday weekend… woop! Hehe!

Today we head to California, United States for Alice and Mario’s playful wedding. They hand crafted their Alice in Wonderland tea party wedding to perfection, with colourful flowers, tea cups and terrariums. WOW.

“Alice and Mario had a beautiful wedding day that really represented their style and personalities! They are both gamers and cosplayers and incorporated elements of this into their wedding day. They put their hearts into every detail and picked the perfect venue for their theme!”

 

From the couple:

“Our favorite moment was definitely doing the first look. It was magical to see each other finally after a hectic day of getting ready, and just being able to see each other was enough to make us feel like, wow, this is finally really happening!

For our wedding day, I was very inspired by an Alice in Wonderland inspired photo shoot I saw on Style Me Pretty. The centerpieces, mixed china and colors were inspired by the photo shoot, and I just took the tea party theme and ran with it from there.

We wanted our wedding to be an example of us, so I wanted a lot of DIY and handmade items decorating our wedding. Many of the items were either handmade by us, or by friends or vendors on Etsy. We also visited garage and estate sales every weekend to collect china plates, teacups and tea pots for the décor. We consider ourselves very lucky to have many things in common, and we tried to show these things throughout the wedding: the World of Warcraft cake toppers, the photos of us on the card table, the custom drink menu and the custom made rings for our wedding bands. We were so happy to have so many wonderful vendors to help us make our wedding dream come true.”
