Can you tell I’m a little bit excited right now – did the Woo Hoo give it away!!!?

Well where do I start……………..? I think a massive thank you is in order first to all the AWESOME people (yes that’s you guys) who nominated us in the Wedding Blog Awards. Kelly and I were blown away when we found out that we had been nominated for not just one but 3 awards! Honestly, we were speechless and ‘Laura’ and ‘speechless’ doesn’t usually appear in the same sentence!

Festival Brides is such a niche blog and is also still fairly new in the wedding industry, even though we’ve been running for 2 years, so you can imagine the shock when our name appeared in 3 categories! Still can’t quite believe it actually!

It means the world to us to know that you guys find inspiration from Festival Brides – it really does. It’s crazy to think that the blog started because 2 silly men thought it would be a good idea to propose to us and then 2 years on we’re being nominated for awards. To receive recognition for something you have poured your heart and soul into and believe in so much is incredible so thank you. You all rock!

Just being nominated in the awards was amazing in itself but to actually win – well – I don’t think there will really be words to describe how happy we would be.
