Luxury Fine Jewellery Brand Astley Clarke is proud to support Breast Cancer Campaign with the launch of its new and exclusive Breast Cancer Campaign bracelet.

Astley Clarke has designed and created a gorgeous bracelet, hand-crafted from woven pink cord, sterling silver and finished with a rose quartz gemstone.

The bracelet is available exclusively online at www.AstleyClarke.com, in the Astley Clarke showroom and concessions in Liberty, Harrods and Selfridges. 20% of proceeds from the sale of each bracelet will be donated to Breast Cancer Campaign.

Every year around 50,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and as many as one in five women diagnosed have a family history of the disease. It is a disease that touches many lives, including that of Breast Cancer Campaign spokesperson Emma Parlons. Emma is a carrier of a BRCA 1 gene mutation which gives her a dramatically increased risk of developing breast cancer in her lifetime.

Breast Cancer Campaign’s mission is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure. For this reason Astley Clarke is proud to support Breast Cancer Campaign, directly funding research into the genetics of breast cancer.

In addition, the Astley Clarke team ran in the Royal Parks half marathon on 6th October 2013 in support of Breast Cancer Campaign… go girls!!

Bec Astley Clarke, Founder and Managing Director of Astley Clarke, states:

‘We are extremely proud to be able to support Breast Cancer Campaign in their fight against a disease that affects so many lives. At Astley Clarke 90% of our employees are female which makes it all the more important for us to be funding research into the genetics of breast cancer. It has been truly inspirational working with Emma and I hope that in creating this gorgeous bracelet we do our bit to help fund this fantastic cause.’

Emma Parlons, spokesperson for Breast Cancer Campaign and blogger, added:

‘Increasing awareness of all genetic related cancers is crucial and, by linking with Breast Cancer Campaign to fund research into this area, I hope one day we will be able to save lives. . A bracelet that mothers and daughters up and down the country will love wearing, while raising funds and awareness was my dream – Bec and her team have made it a reality.’
