Mid-Century Modern Wedding Inspiration from Palm Springs

Mid-Century Modern Wedding Inspiration from Palm Springs

via

I’m loving the combo of mid-century modern along with jewel tones (instead of the traditional mid century color palette) in this styled shoot from Poppy & Plum Events. Palm Springs was the perfect location for this shoot captured by Ryon:Lockhart Photography. A bit more about the design from Poppy & Plum Events:

For the design, we really wanted it to be colorful with some deep tones, but also have it be dramatic against some really awesome backgrounds such as stark white or interesting wallpaper. We used a circle pattern throughout which was inspired by the first thing we got for the shoot: an amazing gold raffle spinner! We really wanted to infuse the use of velvet throughout, so you’ll see that in the bow ties, the shoes, wrapping the bouquet & boutonnieres, and in the accent pillows. We incorporated some really awesome vintage pieces like the coup champagne glasses, gold cane drinking glasses and the trolly tea cart to really add an authentic feel to the shoot.

Lots of lovely details to be inspired by…

One of my favorite details is the ceremony location and the giant wooden arch they made for the shoot. The arch carried with the circular theme and with the flower accents was a gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony, right?!

Loving the create your own tea favors and the bar cart for cocktails.

Thanks so much to all these talented wedding artists for sharing their talents with us today!
