This afternoon we've got a lovely engagement shoot for you all to swoon over. Justin and Camilla's gorgeous Autumnal engagement shoot took place in the New Forest, which really is a lovely part of the UK. Wild ponies, babbling brooks, sunlit dappled glades - there really is nothing more beautiful than a forest for a natural backdrop.

Camilla and Justin are both photographers, so when chosing a photographer for their engagement shoot & wedding, I can imagine there were advantages and disadvantages. Lots of amazing contacts, but having to relinquish control??

Well luckily these two could call on Helen Cawte and Hayley Savage. As well as working individually, Camilla and Helen also form duo Millie & Belle and so the whole shoot basically became a collaborative creative effort.

The ladies all contributed different elements to the setting, everything other than the flowers was made by them or bought from their homes. Much more than just pretty faces these girls aren't they?! That cake looks delicious...

The photos below are a mixture of film and digital as they wanted to see how the two dealt with the colours and faded light in the forest. The film images were then used afterwards as a base for our post processing of the digital files, to replicate the look. I think the overall look is gorgeous - very soft and romantic. Camilla and Justin look like they should be in the pages of a glossy magazine.

The beautiful sculptural bouquets, table settings and head piece were made by florists Little Lillies and add the perfect touch of colour and style to proceedings.

Camilla The Bride: Both being photographers we met at work and clicked (excuse the pun!) straight away.

We got engaged in Justin's homeland of Wales, he took me for a beautiful walk in the Brecon Beacons, we stopped off for a dip in a river then sat on an old bridge for a picnic when he popped the question. I was absolutely bowled over and was even more stunned by the incredible opal engagement ring he presented me with.

Being a wedding photographer myself ( Camilla Arnhold Photography) and one half of Millie & Belle Photography choosing our wedding photographer was a no brainer. My business partner Helen Cawte and the wonderful Hayley Savage are going to be photographing our wedding and we know they will do the most amazing job.

We are planning a very personal, festival style wedding with lots of live music, beautiful details and an unconventional wedding dress. We just want all of our friends and family to have the most fun ever and share the most important day of our lives.

We all contributed to the engagement shoot, everything apart from the flowers were made by us or brought from our own homes.

The amazing Owen from Little Lillies Florists contributed the beautiful sculptural bouquets, table decorations and the leafy head piece.
