Here Comes The Bride...

Many brides still want the big Da da da da moment, as the doors open, and they walk down the aisle in their stunning white dress.

But for other brides, the traditional wedding march is overdone, outdated, or not quite reflective of their style.

Enter our inspirational processional song playlist!

From cool indie tracks, and romantic tear-jerkers, to epic numbers that add a real sense of occasion while all eyes are on you, we've come up with a something-for-everyone list of ideas.

My favourites among the list include Nina Simone's Feeling Good.

My sister walked down the aisle to this one, and while she was a little nervous about it being a bit OTT, on the day is was so atmospheric and gave her entrance such a grand feel.

I nearly didn't share Bon Ivor's Skinny Love and James Vincent McMorrow's Higher Love with you guys because I want to hoard them for myself!

But I figure if I did that with every gorgeous wedding idea I come across, we wouldn't have much of a blog now, would we?

Carl Goes Up from the Up Soundtrack is also a pretty special one if you and your other half have ever wept together while watching the movie. (I know that feeling, all too well!)

And while Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars and KC & Jo-Jo's All My Life can seem a little over-used in TV and movies, there is a reason these songs are so poignant.
