An absolute 'must see' on the blog today, Justin and Tara's Karoo Wedding. So often do we see new venues, new distinations and new locations for weddings. Well, Justin and Tara made the Karoo their wedding venue and it was truly breath taking. The couple shared their day with the amazing Yeah Yeah Photography, and what an absolute pleasure it is to be able to share work of this calibre with the world. This wedding is not only fresh and new, but one cannot help to stare at these images. Enjoy this one with us, as it is absolutely stunning!

Best friends since Justin stumbled into biology class in Grade 10, drawing random characters over my work. So best friends for 10 years it could only be God to bring us into a new adventurous season of more. I always love the picture of a couple getting married on a black horse(Bride) and white horse (Groom), then galloping off into the sunset. So one day we went horse riding on the farm, me on a black horse and Justin on a white horse herding the sheep...his horse bolted and I thought "what a show off", until he went flying. As I nused him back to health, love blossomed and gears shifted from friends to deep love.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down.

In the beautiful Karoo veld on very early morning he had set up a beautiful vintage styled tent with a colonial touches of English tea, mountains of pillows, blankets and candles as the day dawned with a beautiful sun rise he picked up his guitar and sung me a proposal love song that flowed from the heart. The horses that brought us together came and celebrated our new adventure as the galloped by...amazing.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day.

The seven horses running towards us in the veld and making a half moon around us, with the sun setting the air fresh and alive with Karoo fragrance, seeing nature captivating our moment with its absolute majesty...again the horses we road at first. Breath taking.

I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day.

A relentless gallop from start to finish, hair raising and exhilarating with a touch of the sublime.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides.

Never put your wedding day on a pedestal, go with the flow and release control...its a special day but only a day in the bigger picture of your life together. Enjoy every minute of the planning, it does not have to be perfect.
