We are in the throes of summer, which means that not only are we craving that sun-kissed glow, but we're also yearning to incorporate bronze and gold hues into everything we do - they just look so stunning in the sunlight! So when you're amping up your tan with a little bronzer, why not throw on a bronze cat eye to go with it? To get this look, we enlisted the help of makeup guru Emma Willis for Contour Fossa to show us how it's done.

Step 1. Prep the skin with an illuminating primer or skin finisher. Willis used Lancôme Visionnaire (1-Minute Blur) and follow up with a lightweight foundation on the T-zone. Blend the foundation well. Using a fluffy angled brush, dust bronzer across cheekbones, hairline, neck and chest. For a natural glow, try Urban Decay Baked Bronzer For Face and Body in Gilded. Fill out your brows with brow liner.

Step 2. Use your fingers to tap on powder illuminator to cheekbones and above the brows, chin and forehead.

Step 3. Grab an angled shadow brush and draw a thick bronze-colored cat eye along the upper lashes, lightly blending so there are no harsh lines. Willis used Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Breaking Bronze.

Step 3. Blend a slightly darker brown along the lower lash line and into the upper lash line, creating an ombre effect. For long-lasting, highly pigmented color, try Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Improper Copper. Curl your lashes and apply a lengthening mascara.

Step 4. Finish the look with a nude lipstick like L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Collection Exclusive in Eva's Nude. For a glossy finish, dab on some gloss like The Body Shop Honey Bronze Lip Nectar in Honey Beige.
