Wedding Confetti Details

You don't need to wait for New Year's to break out the confetti. Use some of these fabulous confetti wedding details to lend your event some celebratory panache! Start things off with a confetti-laden wedding invitation (above) or bridesmaid ask card (below). Combined with metallic touches, these paper goods are very fashionable.

Use confetti throughout your reception decor in fun, playful ways. These clear mylar balloon stuffed with bright confetti would be perfect for a whimsical, technicolor affair. Don't rely on the usual confetti to decorate your tables. Photos of your cake table will come alive with these oversized tissue paper confetti. Of course, not every confetti is colorful. This snowy white confetti wand would be the sweetest touch for a flower girl to sprinkle down a December wedding's aisle.

For your exit, hand out confetti poppers (above) or packets (below) for guests to use. Glittery paper will help catch the light-making you and your groom's farewell look even more magical. Just make sure your photographer is ready to capture the moment!

Geometric details are very on-trend right now. Use triangle or square confetti (below) around your place settings or on your welcome table, scattered near candles and your guest book. If you don't want it loose, add the glitter underneath clear plate chargers or glass vases.

Mimic the charm of confetti with this circular garland (below). You can DIY this one-and use any number of different materials: layered tissue paper, cotton fabric, card stock, or even wool felt. Just make sure you leave plenty of room to space the discs out.

But the best kind of confetti is the edible kind, right? A classically elegant wedding can have a monochromatic confetti cake, which looks especially tasty in the shades of blush and champagne below (left). For a more modern, cheeky event, why not indulge in your favorite childhood treat of funfetti cake (below, right)?

These confetti glitter shoe clips are a fantastic addition to your flower girl's shoes. The sparkle will make her feel like the little princess you already know her to be!

Lastly, send your guests away with a little confetti magic of their own. These hand-stamped favor bags (left) or dotted tags (right) extend your theme through to the goodbyes.
