This will be Peaktipis' fifth showcasing Open Weekend and in their fifth wonderful year too, so its guaranteed to be bigger and better than ever and definitely one not to miss if you are thinking of having a Tipi Wedding.

This year Peaktipis Spring Open Weekend will be in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District, nestling on the outskirts of their hometown at the Izaak Walton Hotel with panoramic and breathtakingly beautiful views overlooking the spectacular Dovedale Valley.

This charming 17th Century Country House Hotel is situated between the picturesque villages of Ilam and Thorpe and is the perfect backdrop for their fabulous Tipis. Plus its in an ideal (and picture perfect) central location for all of you lovely folk to come and see their Tipis from far and wide, close to major road links (A52, A50, A515, M1, M6) and is just 1 hour from Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester, Sheffield and Nottingham.

If you fancy making a day of it there are some beautiful walks including the iconic 'Stepping Stones' or a steady climb up Thorpe Cloud or you can simply relax and grab a bite to eat or drink at The Izaak Walton, whose restaurant is recommended as a top fine dining restaurant in Derbyshire. Their snacks and light bites can be ordered on the day, or if you fancy a special fine dining lunch you can give them a tinkle on 01335 350981 to reserve a table.

Peaktipis will be joined again by their inspirational and award winning friends on both days, to inspire you with ideas for your big day, including styling, stationery, photography, videography, flowers, yummy catering and scrummy cakes - all under their beautiful canvases. Plus following all of the recent media coverage of their last Open Weekend event {including on our Festival Brides Wedding Blog}, they are even more excited about the chosen theme that will be adorning the Tipis this year.

The super talented and multi 'Wedding Industry Award' winner Mad Philomena will be in charge of our Tipi styling, props and stationery, supported by fabulous floral displays from Nadia Di Tullio and unique 'show-stopping' displays from Fabric Theatre.

Three. Six. Seven. Nine Photography & Film will be around to chat all things photography and capturing the Kodak moments, whilst 'too good to eat' cake will be on show courtesy of the East Midlands Best Cake Maker and Designer Yummy Little Cakes.

The Ceremony Company are on board which is particularly great news for those who are thinking of an outdoor ceremony or blessing, as these guys are the absolute experts in creating a personalised, bespoke ceremony that reflects you and your beau's personalities. A great opportunity to chat through your plans for your 'I do's'.

And as if that wasn't enough already, last up (but by no means least) the 'stomach-grumblingly good' East Midlands Best Caterer's Black Peppermint Food Co. will be joining us with some tasty treats and fresh tea and coffee.

Peaktipis Event is absolutely FREE and there is no requirements for tickets either! They'll be open for Brides and Grooms (to be), family and friends from: 10am to 4pm on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April
