The idea of a winter wedding captured Alaina and Tanner's hearts early on in the planning process. "We wanted to be different then most. I think winter weddings are beautiful and unique," shares Alaina. A rich colour palette of navy and gold perfectly complemented the couple's snowy surroundings.

Like true Canadians, chilly weather did not hold Alaina and Tanner back from taking advantage of the beautiful winter wonderland backdrop. "Taking pictures outside, with our skin exposed more than any sane person would want during winter, is something we will never forget," laughs Alaina.

After pictures the bridal party headed to the local legion hall, where they were greeted by family and friends. A warm meal was happily welcomed, as kind words were shared by the bride and groom's friends. First dances followed, and the rest of the evening was spent celebrating on the dance floor with loved ones.
