Bridal sessions can be a bit intimidating, especially for a bride who isn't accustomed to being in the spotlight! But the moment when a bride sees herself through the lens of a talented artist, like the lovely film photographer , is such a special one as she can truly envision herself as a bride. We heart these simple, yet stunning bridals complete with lovely florals by Sara DonaldsonLexa's Flowers in an unforgettable Romona Keveza gown as they allow the personality of the sweet bride to be show through...

From Sara Donaldson: "Sometimes everything falls into place ... it feels as though time stands still and nothing exists except chasing the dancing light (and in this case, my precious client in her perfect-for-her wedding gown). Capturing little traces of time is a gift, not only for my clients, but also for myself - I get to see how light transfers into signature expressions and soft memories. Ellen is such a kind soul. Like most brides, she had a timidness about her as the shoot began, expressing that she didn't know what she was doing and "didn't want to look stiff, like a Tin Man." After seeing her imagery, she said, "I feel like someone could know who I am, just by looking at these photos. You have such an amazing gift." In reality, it is an amazing gift to have the honor of capturing someone's essence on film. This is the bliss that keeps me yearning for more."

From the bride: "I am the kind of bride who picked out five dresses and tried on three before I found "The One." The drive from Fort Worth to Dallas probably lasted longer than my gown appointment. My style is very traditional, but I hated the thought of looking boring, especially on my wedding day. This gown had the perfect solution with a subtle blush-tone and the light beading on the bodice. Similarly, the bridal portraits are traditional, but far from boring. I doubt I will ever have another moment in my life where I will get to walk through the leaves and the greenery in a ball gown and a cathedral veil! It was the first time I had put on the gown and the veil with my makeup and my hair done. I was literally on cloud nine. I was simultaneously excited and calm. I never even knew that was possible, but everything was just effortlessly perfect in that moment."
