What I lack in DIY skills I certainly make up for in creative friends, so when HP got in touch asking if I'd like to partner with them to showcase their amazing new Sprout computer, I called in the reinforcements! Sophie, Ronnie and I then started brainstorming ideas for some cute greetings cards that we could create for you, although we actually spent most of the time laughing/ cringing at ourselves over all the silly puns we came up with!

So before we begin, what exactly is the HP Sprout? Well, it's like living in the future that's what! The whole time we were working on this we us kept saying to each other "This really is like magic you know!"

The HP Sprout is a high performance touch screen PC (so you can do all the usual computery stuff on it) with an overhead scanner attached to the top that enables you to capture 3D objects. They are quickly transformed into graphics, which you can then resize and replicate using the built-in software to create something fabulous! It sounds complicated, but it is super easy to use.

And voilà!

The attached touch mat also allows you add text, draw, write or even add your own images. You can see one I did here where I scanned glitter and wrote the text on top by hand, which I think turned out amazing! It's basically a 3D object scanner meets a Wacom tablet meets Photoshop meets your home PC.
