Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

Our story is definitely not the conventional one.. I'm from Uruguay and Jono is
the South African, we met 7 years ago while making coffee and soup on top of
the Vail mountain, in Colorado. After a couple of tries to teach Jono Spanish in
between making coffees and serving customers, the spark ignited.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

When in Rome.. say Yes! Jono was undoubtably blissful that day. We visited the
Vatican and spent hours and hours speaking about life, our beliefs, what we
wanted from life, eating gelatto and walking the tiny and charming Vatican streets
in a beautiful summer night. At midnight he went on his knee right in front of the
Vatican and asked me to marry him.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

The dance floor with the mix of the Spanish flair, the afrikaans tannies and the
English rockers enjoying a 30 degree evening in the vineyards dancing the night
away was memorable. Particularly with the wigs, Brazilian songs, flashy rings,
colourful sun glasses that make up a south American carnival, a must in our
fiestas!
