Charlie and Andrew's Pre Wedding Shoot

Charlie and Andrew's Pre Wedding Shoot

via

Afternoon Lovely People,

Hope your week is all good so far.

We have a very special pre-wedding shoot to share with you today.

Back in January 2015, Festival Brides' readers Charlie and Andrew contacted us to enquire about one of our festival wedding venues, The Field Shelter and Woodland in Kent. They had been let down by their venue at the last minute and, with all their suppliers already booked and paid for, they were desperately looking for a venue for the 6th June 2015. Outdoor wedding venues that lend themselves to a festival wedding and that comes with a civil ceremony license, are far and few between so finding one that still had 2015 availability in January was going to be a tall order. It was obviously meant to be though, as our Field Shelter only had 1 date left in June and it was the 6th! After only viewing the venue once, they booked and shortly followed their incredible wedding which has to be up there with one of the coolest weddings we have hosted there to date. The guys had tacos as their wedding meal and tattoos done onsite............need we say more?

As part of the warm up to their wedding, Charlie and Andrew, along with their awesome photographer Joe Burford, held a pre-wedding shoot at the venue so they could suss out the best areas to use on their wedding day. Joe also thought it would be a good idea for the guys to get used to being in front of the camera.

With coloured paint powder, a very cute sausage dog and some awesome leg tattoos, this pre-wedding shoot is definitely up there as one of my favourites.

We will be featuring Charlie and Andrew's wedding on our festival pages on Monday so please please do not be a stranger as their wedding ROCKS!

For now, we will leave you with this gorgeous pre-wedding shoot......

I'm a huge fan of engagement and pre-wedding shoots, they're always full of fun and laughter and it's a great opportunity for me to get to know the couple and for the couple to get used to the camera! It makes the big day so much more relaxed, plus they get a beautiful set of photos to use for the perfect pre-wedding profile pic!!!

Weddings are all about the real smiles and the real moments, so I blend both classic with reportage, documentary and contemporary styles to capture the essence of the day. I love the energy and vibrancy of colour and the intimacy of black and white, so tend to use both in the final edit, but most of all I love creating timeless images that last a lifetime. It's such a privilege to be part of such a special day - I really do have the best job!
