With a groom in cream and colours, a dessert table with pretty bakes and bright coverings, and a waterside setting that's draped in willow trees and truly enchanting, there's a lot to be inspired by, whether you're planning an elopement, or a low key destination wedding in Italy.

About the Shoot

The idea for this bohemian intimate outdoor wedding inspiration came from the stunning location that Chiara from Weddings in Tuscany discovered, in the southern part of Tuscany, near Grosseto. A beautiful villa with private lake (and boat!), surrounded by woods and nature. Considering we were going to arrange this outdoor styled shoot in summer, Chiara chose a colorful mood, adding some deep, bright tones and avoiding the more standard, pastel-driven color stories we're used to seeing, surfing the net. The color explosion you can see on the table it's really perfect for a summer wedding, without losing the feel of elegance and romance. The bridal bouquet is really something new and fresh, made on the field by Cendrine from Jardin Divers and inspired by the lake plants; and it blends seamlessly with the gorgeous lace dress! The photos were taken at sunset for softer light to emphasise the female form without damaging the delicate lace embroidery We all had great fun thinking to all the details for the shoot, with Villa Sant'Anna as a flawless summer setting. Our main goal was to show that your wedding can both be extremely romantic, beautiful, personalized, and colorful, all in one.

Isn't it dreamy? I love those vintage style cap veils, but the idea of a long veil with a short wedding dress is really dramatic too. And what a romantic setting, wow!
