It happened in Brooklyn, smack dab in the middle of the last New York Fashion Week: some of the best spring looks from SPACE designers, selected and styled to throw it all back to the teenage years, when we thought we knew everything-and we probably did.

See it's like this: The more designers we talked to over the normal course of interviewing our favorite brands and visiting them at various Fashion Week events, the more we heard about how the post-adolescent, pre-adult era was a time of creative growth and innovation. They told us it was a time that seeded and cemented big and small ideas about what it meant to connect and create, and we wanted to explore that.

The resulting photo editorial-shot by Max Farago, styled by Delphine Danhier, staring on-the-rise Spanish model Steffy Argelich and posted in our SPACE shop today with quotes from the Marques'Almeida creative heads as well as other top designers-is not about looking like a teenager, and it isn't really about thinking like one either. It's about remembering the freedom to feel, and respecting the power to believe -in yourself, in your friends, and in the world around you.

"It better work out
I hope it works out my way
'Cause it's getting kind of quiet in my city's head
Takes a teen age riot to get me out of bed right now

You better look it
We're gonna shake it
Up to him

He acts the hero
We paint a zero
On his hand"
