The Most Romantic Elopement in Hawaii

The Most Romantic Elopement in Hawaii

On a grey Monday morning, we could all do with getting away from it all. And today's gorgeous elopement couldn't take us further from cold and windy London.

When you think of an elopement in Hawaii, you think of a couple standing on a beach with lei around their necks. But Kayla & Braden's intimate Maui wedding was a little bit different than that.

This gorgeous pair got married against the enchanting backdrop of Haiku Mill, and the wonderful Angie Diaz Photography was on hand to capture all the romance and excitement of their big day.

Fusing vintage French styling and European architecture, with the lush gardens and tropical florals of Hawaii, Haiku Mill played the perfect secret garden setting for an elopement.

Kayla was positively glowing in her lace high-low gown, with a rose and succulent bouquet and pretty floral crown. While Braden was beaming in his dapper tuxedo (props to him for wearing a full suit in the Hawaii heat!).

Despite having a more striped-back celebration, there was still space for a chic cake, a sweet first dance, and a toast for two.

The smiles on their faces tell it all, yet another gorgeous elopement that might just inspire you to ditch a more traditional big day!

From the Photographer

Upon viewing the Haiku Mill, Canadians Kayla and Braden were beyond ecstatic. The former sugar mill on the island of Maui with it's glamorous French touches emerging out of Old Hawaii was more than the two could hope for. They acted like little children seeing Disneyland for the first time. Kayla loves the French aesthetics. Braden was quick to point out " Babe it looks so much like your place." The two could not stop smiling. Their child-like wonder was infectious. It was a sheer delight to capture the love and joy these two felt for each other.

I love their outfit changes at the end, what a glamorous pair? It just looks like the most fun and romantic day and what an incredible setting too!

Thanks so much to Angie Diaz Photography, and of course newlyweds, Kayla & Braden for sharing their awesome Hawaii elopement.
