Hello! We are Owen and Carla and together we run Coastal Tents from our base in Swanage, Dorset. We are helped (read distracted!) by our new puppy Finn.

That is a tough one! We loved Latitude Festival in Suffolk for its beautiful setting but we would love to go to Benicassim. They always have a great line up, it is hot, sunny and by the sea.

We had Tipis for our wedding and were looking for a change of lifestyle alongside a move to the sea. We moved from London and set up the business in Swanage where we can see the sea from the office!

We wanted to help couples with their weddings after enjoying organising our own.

We fell head over heals in love with the Tipis and then found our new star, the Sailcloth tent. Both are a fantastic alternatives to the standard marquees and have a natural finish with timber poles.

The Tipis look great in rustic settings as well as manicured lawns, while the Sailcloth is a vision of art deco glamour.

We love working with all our couples because they are always excited when we turn up onsite! Our arrival usually signals the start of their wedding preparations. We really enjoy doing our winter weddings as much as the summer ones and have had great feedback from them all so far. One of our couples were so happy they took the time to email us the day after their wedding. It gives us great satisfaction knowing we have helped them with their special day.
