Handmade Pennsylvania Wedding: Allyson + Eric

Handmade Pennsylvania Wedding: Allyson + Eric

via

When a Thursday brings us a wedding as sweet as this one, you know it's definitely going to be a good day! Allyson + Eric's wedding at Historic Shady Lane in Manchester, Pennsylvania was a pretty combination of personal touches + DIY elements, a beautiful, nature-filled location, and amazing live music played by Eric + his band! Since music plays such a big part in A + E's lives, it only made sense that it dictated at least some of the direction of the day. In fact, Allyson says, The first wedding decision we made was on the day we got engaged: No Slow Songs! We wanted to have a party that our guests would remember and have a ton of fun dancing at. We incorporated lots of personal elements, like old family artifacts, rocks and branches from our family cottage in Canada, and music that we grew up listening to. We're a creative, quick-witted, and non-traditional couple and I think that our wedding represented us pretty well.

Big thanks to With Love and Embers for the beautiful images + congrats to Allyson + Eric's on their lovely wedding!

We're super into Allyson's Leanne Marshall dress + flower crown by Splints and Daisies!

Shibori escort cards FTW!
