Romantic & Super Chic Blush Pink Wedding in Arizona

Romantic & Super Chic Blush Pink Wedding in Arizona

via

Since I started at Bridal Musings, the hands down, most popular colour I've seen across our real weddings has to be blush pink.

From bridesmaids to blooms, so many couples have been making this soft colour the focal point of their big day. But you know what? I'm not even nearly tired of it!

Because this hopelessly romantic, entirely versatile hue, is so pretty, so photogenic, and can be used and paired in so many different ways, that every time I see it, it still looks chic and fresh.

And Kristin & Johnny's beautiful Arizona bash is the perfect example of why this colour is still so current.

Their very own blush pink wedding was captured (so beautifully!) by Andrew Jade Photography.

Every last detail of this wedding is pretty.

From the floral stationery to the luxe blooms, the whimsical cake to the stunning ceremony setting at El Chorro (such a popular venue with Bridal Musings' couples!), there's something to swoon over in every single image.

We're a tad obsessed with Kristin's customised wedding dress, with a strapless laced gown and sheer long-sleeve cover-up (and we just love that she felt so beautiful in it!). While Johnny looked the part of a gallant groom, in a black tux with a smart bow tie.

As you'll gather from our gushing, this entire celebration is a feast for your peepers, so without further ado, check out this entirely gorgeous, blush-adorned big day.

Wedding Inspiration

I wanted our wedding to have a really classy, romantic, tad bit vintage feel. Keeping the color palette to white and blush, I think we really accomplished that! The venue itself is so stunning I didn't want anything to take away from it, the grass lawn and surrounding mountains, all the different greenery was absolutely breath taking! I can't even say it was a dream come true because I never could have dreamed of it being so perfect! Being a very opinionated, slight perfectionist bride (let's just say I know what I want), I was truly so surprised to wake up the morning of our wedding with absolutely zero anxiety! I knew no matter what happened nothing was going to ruin the fact that I was going to marry my best friend and this was going to be one of the best days of my life! Of course my amazing team of vendors and family and friends helped make all that possible!

The Flowers

I really loved the mixture of our white and blush table arrangements, the dusty miller added an awesome visual texture and color that complemented the pallet perfectly! My sister being my only bridal party member, maid of honor, of course! I had her arrangement mimic the center pieces. I wanted my bouquet to be different but still tie in to all the other arrangements. The all blush garden roses that made up my bouquet were incredible, they were huge! They made the perfect accessory to my wedding dress!

The Dress

When picking my wedding dress I really wanted to keep to the style of the wedding and venue. I loved the idea of a long-sleeve wedding dress, but ended up falling in love with a gorgeous strapless lace dress. I felt so incredible in this dress! I had my seamstress make a custom lace jacket that buttoned-up the back to wear during the ceremony and it completed my vision for having a long sleeved dress. It was like having two dresses, one for ceremony and one for reception! It really transformed from this "timeless, stunning, long-sleeve" dress" to a fun , "dance your butt off all night long" dress! Between my hair, make up, and dress I can truly say I have never felt so beautiful in my life! When I look back at my wedding photos (which I do ALOT!) the butterflies and emotions from that day immediately return. I still can't believe I'm looking at my own wedding!

The Wedding Cake

Shortly after we started the wedding planning process my mom came across a picture of a naked cake! I had never heard or seen a "naked" cake before but as soon as she sent it to me I knew that was exactly what I wanted our cake to look like! All the layers were exposed and it was covered in fresh strawberries, powder sugar and flowers. A strawberry shortcake seemed so fitting for a spring wedding! And it happens to be my husbands favorite! I loved how unique it was compared to your traditional fondant wedding cake. It really fit the vibe of our romantic vintage wedding! And YES it was just as delicious as it was beautiful!

We told you it was pretty, right? That shot of their flower girl watching Kristin & Johnny say their vows is just too cute! I love their stationery suite too, and those flowers are so beautiful.

Thanks so much to Andrew Jade Photography, and of course Kristin & Johnny, for sharing their wonderful Arizona wedding with us.
