With this styled shoot, photographer Therese de Jesus and her team aimed to create a modern wedding setup inspired by Renaissance paintings. "We modernized a classic, historical look and used the colour palette of dark blue, dove grey and soft cream," she explains.

Olive branches, low, lush florals, gold tableware and gorgeous ornate desserts came together to reflect a Renaissance look, while fine art calligraphy on watercolour paper, a stunning chiffon gown and romantic accessories added a modern aesthetic to the shoot.
