Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

We met at a friend's house on our way to Clarens for her birthday. Needless to say she wasn't only the birthday girl for the weekend, but also cupid. With the help of "melktertjies" & the romantic outdoor environment of Clarens my husband had the courage to speak to me as he said I came across shy & stubborn, as he found out later, only selective & oh what a mighty fine choice I made choosing him. Not long after this weekend I needed a date for my Law formal & as faith would have, no other male friend was available..but him. I had to swallow my pride & ask him to be my date & oh did he enjoy every minute

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

On 1 of the coldest weekend,on a Game Farm in the Freestate as I was told we are going to Durban and I packed a bikini in July! Ending the day with a sunset game drive & supper for 2 we head back to our mountain chalet looking over the bush veld and wild animals. I went to the bathroom just to make sure all my makeup is still in place as I suspected a lil surprise & soon heard the door being locked, I waited patiently and after a few min he unlocked the door & there he was on one knee with the room filled with candles and memories of our relationship on one knee asking me to marry him leaving me speechless.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Our first dance definitely. While my husband swept me away in the church already with our vows and how handsome he looked, nothing would've made the day even more amazing and special than our first dance and Michael Buble's words: "And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times, It's you, it's you, you make me sing.You're every line, you're every word, you're everything.You're every song, and I sing along.
