Alison and Stewart were engaged in Paris, after arriving for a month-long European adventure. "We went for a walk around the neighbourhood to find a place for dinner," Alison explains. "We walked by the Seine river and stopped to enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset." That was when Stewart nervously got down on one knee and popped the question.

The couple opted for a travel theme for their wedding. "We both love to travel and have been to several countries together," Alison shares. They complemented their theme with a soft lavender and mint colour scheme.

Alison's favourite details included her wedding shoes and Stewart's suit and bow tie. "My shoes were so sparkly, I couldn't take my eyes off them," Alison says. "I also loved how classic Stewart's suit and bow tie were."

"Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" by Franki Valli and the Four Seasons served as the couple's wedding song. "We love the time-honoured tune and that it was more upbeat than most traditional wedding songs," Alison smiles.
