Bursting with bright colours, imagination and unplanned dancing, Sarah and Wendy’s vibrant celebration was alive with excitement and energy. Lilies, the couple’s favourite flowers, inspired the hot pink and orange colour scheme. Sarah and Wendy exited the ceremony to “Firework” by Katy Perry, and broke into an impromptu dance party, asking their guests to stand up and join them in their happiness. “It was cool to see everyone dancing together, it was so fun and spontaneous. We still laugh about it today!” Sarah shares. “Firework” carries a special significance for the couple as it reminds them of their friend Susanne, who passed away before the wedding. “The song made us feel like she was there with us,” Sarah shares. “The lyrics also include our wedding date, the 4th of July, so it all just fell into place.”
