Cocktail Hour: Blackberry Punch Beauty

Cocktail Hour: Blackberry Punch Beauty

via

One of our favorite parts of summer is the plethora of yummy summer fruits:strawberries, watermelon and blackberries, just to name a few. Even better are the cocktails that incorporate these seasonal treats. Our recent flavor of the month is an irresistible Blackberry Punch recipe from Tastemade vlogger PotLuck Video. We loved this tasty little treat so much, we created an entire makeup look for it (that's dedication for ya, huh?). Check out how makeup and hair guru Emma Willis for Contour Fossa whipped up a lovely evening look around this sweet summer cocktail.

Step 1. Apply primer and matte foundation (Willis used L'Oréal Paris True Match Naturale Mineral Foundation). Cover up any blemishes or imperfections with concealer. Apply bronzer to forehead, cheek hollows and chin line. Brush some warm rose blush on the apples of the cheeks and go over it with a little highlighter (we recommend The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Apricot). MDC Quick Tip: To ensure the color on the face and neck match, dust some bronzer on the neck area to blend any lines.

Step 2. Dab some concealer on the eyelids and blend to ensure the entire area (up to the browline) is covered. Using the pad of your finger or a flat shadow brush, apply midnight blue shadow to the lid up to the crease - try L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow in Midnight Blue. Line the lower lash line and inner corners of the eyes with the shadow.

Step 3. Using a fluffy brush, apply a copper brown shadow to the corner crease of the eyes. Blend any separation lines with a clean blending brush.

Step 4. Curl lashes with an eyelash curler. Apply a curling mascara like Maybelline The Colossal Cat Eye to upper and lower lashes. Finish with a soft pink glossy lip color (Willis used L'Oréal Paris Glossy Balm in Babydoll).
