Fifty Shades Of Grey

Fifty Shades Of Grey

via

when Lolly told me about this wedding... A groom called Adam wearing tweed and brogues I started to wonder if this might be a wedding delivered through time from the future and that I was, just like Marty McFly in Back To The Future 2, interacting with an older version of my own self... That'll teach me to drink Gin before noon.

Anna and Adam had a beautiful unique wedding full of quirky, hand made details. The wedding took place at Dorset House in Bury, West Sussex. Anna looked absolutely stunning in her Maggie Sottero dress with fishtail plait. This wedding was captured beautifully digitally and in film by Camilla Arnhold.

Anna The Bride: Low back, lace, fitted... I wanted some blue in my outfit as I didn't have a colour theme as such, so I wore Blue bird earings and blue nail polish! Adam and his groomsmen wore tweed brown suits from Topman with fitted drain pipe legs! They went for brown brogues and Navy ties to bring in a bit of colour.

Our venue was Dorset House, I loved the setting with the view over the South Downs and a jetty over the stream. It was the perfect venue for our wedding, the staff were brilliant and the day was very relaxed. Our wedding theme was based around the colours blue, navy, cream, black and Brown. More of a collection rather than a colour scheme! All of the bouquets, centrepieces and button holes were roses made by myself out of pages of Fifty Shades of Grey! The centrepieces were bird cages with flowers and fairy lights inside. I also strung sepia photographs of all of our guests around the barn to add a personal touch.

Our flower girl wore a lace dress from John Lewis. My Bridemaids hair was by Lotus Styling with make-up by Pollyanna Coxon-Smith .

We had our dog Rufus run down the isle during the ceremony, his lace collar was my something blue! We walked out to bubbles instead of confetti. Our entertainment was provided by The Move-Ons, we have followed them for the duration of our relationship together and we love their cover songs as well as their own music. We also had a digital juke box during the day for the guests to select their own choice of songs.

Our photographer Camilla Arnhold gave us exactly what we wanted; romantic, relaxed and natural memories of our amazing day. Camilla captured our day in a mixture of digital and film and we absolutely love the results. Our videographer, Doug Tibbetts, makes videos as a hobby with his son and daughter, he uses 3 cameras to cover all the angles and he is really reasonably priced.
