Looking for a beach wedding somewhere spectacular was on their list but after thinking about it for a while decided to have their wedding day right at home in San Diego! We totally think they made the right choice!

From the bride, Rachael: "We originally wanted to do a destination wedding, from San Francisco to Scotland to South Carolina, the ideas flew around. We are from Temecula, California which is about an hour from La Jolla. I started thinking about how people fly from all over the world to get married in San Diego because it is so beautiful! all along, I wanted something different and far but realized we didn't need to go far to have a special wedding. We stumbled upon the Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla, California and knew we had to get married there! The venue is steps away from the beach and is absolutely stunning! Our wedding was timed perfectly with the sunset, you can see that through the images. My mother did the flowers and they were breathtaking. Every small detail of the wedding fit perfect with the location and whole ambiance. I really think others would love to see our wedding!"
