If you've just been elected a bridesmaid or Maid of Honor, you're gonna want to pay extra close attention to today's fun feature. We truly adore this gorgeous bridal shower, planned, designed, floral-ized (it's a thing!) AND photographed by the talented team at Sweet Root Village. Believe it or not, this is a real-life event, and it's sure to get your creativity flowing. When Rachel of SRV started planning this lingerie shower (genius btw) for her sweet sister, Heather, she kept in mind that an intimate, relaxed + stylish setting would be key. She designed the sweetest brunch at her studio in Alexandria, Virginia + says, Since we were on the cusp of Spring, we forged ahead with a bright lemon citrus design.

Girls, get ready to fall for this pretty, pretty party!

Rachel designed a mantelpiece display of blooming white quince from a local farm as well as a living moss and ranunculus centerpiece and display accents throughout the room. And we can't get over how pretty all the citrus-hued ranunculus are!

Such a fun spring garden feel!

Heather's college degree is in kinesiology and she has been living completely sugar free for quite a few years now. So that was a bit of a challenge when creating a menu, especially since what shower in the history of ever doesn't have sweets?! Thankfully, we know of this amazing lady Thu who owns Joy Bliss Raw. She whipped us up a sugar free, raw lemon poppy seed cake for the shower paired with raw coconut truffles! We also found a simple recipe for a frozen fruit sorbet that met our sugar-free requirements
