We are back in the office this week after a wonderful time in Paris and what better way to celebrate than with a romantic Elope to Paris inspiration shoot by Marjorie Prvl Photography and planned by Elope in Paris. There are so many fabulous details in this shoot, but I have to say that I am totally in LOVE with the classic white Jaguar, how stylish and fun to be driving around Paris in.

Marjorie from Marjorie Prvl Photography takes us through the shoot: " The idea behind this inspiration shoot was to capture the essence of Paris together with some other amazing English speaking vendors in France. Together with Yanique at Elope in Paris, we pulled together a shoot to give our future clients a visual board of where they can plan their Parisian elopement/wedding.

My love of France and weddings has led me to live in Paris where I'm constantly in contact with amazing couples looking to tie the knot in the City of Love. This shoot is one of many ways your special day can unfurl. What better way to celebrate you love than cruising the Seine or driving down the winding Parisian streets in a vintage Jaguar?

We wanted to capture the intimate aspects of a couple who celebrate their love in Paris! As simple as it may seem we believe that their are so many beautiful fun moments that happen before and after the actual wedding ceremony during the course of the day. We took inspiration from many of our couples who are world travelers, foodies and really appreciate the slow life. Fun and Simple. So the day started in their Parisian apartment in the trendy but village like neighborhood of South Pigalle, with croissants and Pain au Chocolat from the Bakery down stairs, enjoyed in bed with some books and play for an easy morning.

To go with the playful sexy feel of the shoot, we incorporated the exquisite lingerie of French designer Fifi Chachnil who does playful oh so well! Everything from the bra to the shoes were delicately sensual without being too much for the Boudoir shoot.

Paris is also home to many new dress designers such as Marjolaine Chen, who we actually knew of for their evening-wear but recently discovered and fell in love with their sublime wedding dress collection! These minimalist ones were chosen to take the bride from ceremony to reception, as many of our couples actually do.

Our car was a vintage sports Jaguar, a bit smaller than the classic but we really wanted to run with the fun theme! For the wedding ceremony we had spectacular wedding during summer and wanted to really show Paris - all of it! So we held it on a boat along the Seine River, pausing for the exchange of vows by the Eiffel Tower then continuing along the river passing under all the beautifully built bridges. With minimal rustic floral decor of the boat we were able to not drown the details of the boat. The bride had a lush green bouquet and the groom a matching boutonniere to tie in with the rustic fun feel.
