Boho-Vintage Day Camp Wedding: Anjuli + Jesse

Boho-Vintage Day Camp Wedding: Anjuli + Jesse

We're pretty excited to share the ultimate woodland wedding with you all today, which took place at College Settlement Camp in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Since Anjuli + Jesse knew just what they wanted their wedding to be like, they took on the tasks of planning, prepping + DIYing their day. And we're sure it goes without saying that that is no small feat, friends! They built a setting that was dripping in details + rich in texture (thanks, in part, to the lush floral arrangements by Sullivan Owen and wood + metal pieces by Maggpie Vintage Rentals). And the style trickled over into their wardrobe choices, too. Anjuli wore an incredible collared vintage 1940s gown from Mill Crest Vintage. And Jess chose a rad blue three-piece suit by Scuderi.

Anjuli tells us, Our inspiration for the day was a bohemian wooded camp adventure. We prioritized time with an intimate group of friends and family (55 people). By choosing a camp close enough to where most friends and family live, we were able to have a three day event where people had the choice to head home or spend the night. We got to have an amazing rehearsal dinner Friday followed by a movie under the stars, an amazing wedding day that stretched into the wee hours, and the most amazing Sunday brunch. We made the wedding reflect us as a couple by making the whole weekend 100% vegan and by including Buddhist principles in our wedding vows.

Thanks so much to the amazing Pat Furey for the gorgeous photos + big congrats to A + J on a beautiful day!

We love Anjuli's entire bridal look, including her wine-hued flats + vintage floral fringe kimono.

Also, how killer is her textural woodland bouquet by Sullivan Owen?! It just doesn't get better than that!

A's best pals donned DIY flower crowns and pretty on-palette dresses. We love the thought of including your friends into the day, and photos, even if you choose not to have a bridal party!

Because our ceremony was in the woods, we met our friends and family at the reception area and then we walked with whole party together through the woods to our ceremony location. On that walk, our friend who is a professional guitarist strummed beautiful acoustic music as we found our way. He continued playing for the flower girls, ring bearers, and the me. After the procession, we didn't have any music at the ceremony, just the sounds of the woods.

The picnic tables featured simple place settings and bread bag menus, along with more gorgeous autumnal florals.
