Ethereal Coastal Bridal Shoot (With Beautiful Style Inspiration)

Ethereal Coastal Bridal Shoot (With Beautiful Style Inspiration)

We've been sharing a lot of dreaminess on the blog this week.

But sometimes the changing of the seasons is all about getting into hibernation mode, and doing a little daydreaming. And fine art wedding photography is perfect for doing just that.

Which might explain why we're pretty in love with today's four-part bridal inspiration shoot by Julie Kay Kelly, taken at a workshop with renowned film photographer, Erich McVey, and styled by the amazing Ginny Au.

Elk, California, an area of incredible beauty, with woodland, meadows, stunning beaches and rugged coastline, was the perfect backdrop for these four vignettes (mini shoots).

While each one is romantic, ethereal, and entirely stylish, they also all have their own individual (utterly gorgeous) look and feel, for every kind of fine art-loving bride.

With gowns from some of the most exciting and unique bridal designers - Emily Riggs and Alexandra Grecco, wow! - there's everything from long sleeved and lacy for classic brides, to crisp and modern styles for those with a cleaner silhouette in mind.

With exquisite blooms ( Soil & Stem are one of our fave florists on Instagram!), fab hair and make-up, and lots of lovely details, if you're looking for something a little different for your wedding, prepare to be inspired.

Part One: Pattern

Part Two: Element

Part Three: Modern

Part Four: Seaside

Aren't they just beautiful? I love how each look is so different but they all have a real allure and movement to them.

Thanks so much to Julie Kay Kelly, and the amazing team behind this shoot for sharing it with us.
