It all started with one of the most epic proposals I think I've ever watched. You just have to take a look at Paul popping the question, it's just so very romantic. Let's take a look at their gorgeous nuptials shall we?

Paul and Lee tied the knot on Saturday 18th July 2015 at Wandsworth Town Hall followed by an outdoor reception at The Hand and Flower in Richmond. I just love the casual feel to their party which was set off with cute kraft paper stationery, black board signs and jars filled with blooms. Plus the log slices collected from Christmas trees (top tip!) and the Pimms drink station were brilliant touches.

Lee looked totally beautiful in her pre-loved swishy gown while the boys rocked the country gent look in bow ties and tweed. Such a fun celebration.

THE PROPOSAL | Obtusely public hahaha! After a foiled plan to take Lee on an elaborate treasure hunt around London based on previous dates, I hatched a plan with a friend of mine, who not only had contacts with musicians but was also able to set up hidden cameras in St Christopher's Place near Bond Street Tube. After weeks of planning and rehearsals I surprised the bajeesus out of Lee and thankfully, she said yes!

THE VISION | I guess we both wanted something very casual, relaxed and informal with a rustic, country vibe. We planned for a long time and used Pinterest for some great ideas.

THE PLANING PROCESS | We didn't use wedding magazines and only went to one wedding fair (where we found our amazing photographer) but after visiting a few venues in London we found The Hand and Flower, Richmond. Once we had found the venue it enabled us really envisage how we wanted everything else.

We took inspiration from Pinterest and other wedding blogs and decided on the theme. To save money, we handmade nearly all of our decorations and family and friends made the cake, cake decorations and bunting. We ordered many things online and tailored them to suit our theme (we had many a craft night!).

THE VENUE | The Hand and Flower, Richmond. We chose this venue as it provided a great sized outdoor space and maintained the feel of an old, rustic pub.

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Dress: This was bought second hand from a website called Bride to Be.

Shoes: We searched high and low but Lee did not like the typical bridal shoe style. She saw on Pinterest that a few brides recently have chosen pop colours for theirs shoes so she decided on a 'pop-pink' colour. It was a lovely little touch and really highlighted the beautiful white dress.

Accessories: Lee wanted to keep these simple so had some lovely drop down diamond earrings and, although she had a hair comb, on the day decided not to wear it.

GROOM'S ATTIRE | I wanted a classic but still different from the norm and also something that reflected the country theme that we were going for. My brother, Dad and I all had a three-piece blue tweed suit (Walker Slater, Covent Garden). To distinguish between me and my identical twin, I had finer stitching (button holes) in different colours that matched the bridesmaid's dresses and wore a silver pocket watch (a gift from my brother for being his best man a few years ago). We all wore bow-ties and brown brogues (Aldo). My groomsmen all wore matching blue tweed trousers but I provided bow ties and braces, which they wore well with white shirts and rolled up sleeves.

THE READINGS & MUSIC | Because we had a civil ceremony at Wandsworth Town Hall, we had no religious texts or hymns. I selected a reading of a passage that I took from a book for my oldest friend to read out. Lee's cousin and a good friend of mine, Jamie, performed an acoustic version of "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perry that Lee and her brides walked in to.

We had a band later on during the reception who are family friends but more importantly a fantastic wedding band! They are called Manchow.

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | Because they were all in Australia and Lee was in London, they all found a dress that they agreed on online that complimented all of their different figures.

THE FLOWERS | The bouquets were all white and made up of white roses and gypsophila. They we bound with brown twine. This was the same but on a much smaller scale for the men's button holes. The theme for the flowers for the whole day and evening was subtle gypsophila and small, light pink roses.

THE CAKE | This was a three-tiered naked, chocolate, sponge cake, cemented by layers of buttercream . It was made by one of Lee's friends and brought to the venue on the day, presented on a thin log slice. The flower decorations were handmade using icing by another one of Lee's friends along with her mum. These were remarkably brought over from Abu Dhabi where they live.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Alex Tenters. We met Alex at our one and only wedding fair and knew straight away we wanted to hire him. His stall was presented in exactly the same theme that we wanted for our wedding so we checked out his website. We loved his composition and attention to detail and contacted him as soon as we could. He was also very approachable and funny and on the day was very subtle and relaxed, so as not to encroach on the day. We were absolutely delighted with the photos and also how they were packaged, presented and delivered to us.

THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | For the table centre pieces Lee and I collected jars for months! We used brown hessian, brown twine and white lace to decorate glass jars of all different shapes and sizes. Using a collection of three different sizes they were placed on log slices (that we collected in December and January from thrown out Christmas tree bases!) and filled with gypsophila and small light pink roses. These were spaced out evenly on a white table cloth with a central hessian table runner. Another key decoration was our guest's mason jars, with comical nick-name tags and blue and white stripy straws. These were all to be kept by our guests as wedding favours.

We had a candy station with a great selection of sweets and lollies, big Kilner jars at the Pimms station, which we sign posted with a large chalk clipboard.

We had blue and cream bunting around the venue from material we chose and bought and made by a colleague of mine.

We also had hundreds of fairy lights everywhere and a photo wall of our guests.

We also organised an old, traditional London double-decker bus to transport all of our lovely guests from the ceremony in Wandsworth to the reception in Richmond.

THE HONEYMOON | We had an amazing 9 days in Barcelona. We were very touristy and hired bicycles to see the city but also took the time to utilise the hotel pool and beach to relax and recover!

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | Paul: 1) When I first saw Lee in her dress, walking in to the acoustic song. We literally could not keep our eyes of each other and I have never smiled so big!

2) Also, hilarious dancing from the guests and particularly my wife in her dress!!!!

Lee: 1) The morning of the wedding and getting ready with her bridesmaids, who she hadn't seen in over 18 months!

2) The dance floor antics, which saw laughter, dance-offs and even a back-flip!

3) Reading our vows that we had written ourselves.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | On the day, the time flies so quickly that you must make sure you enjoy every moment. Something is bound to go wrong or not as you want it to, so do not stress out about it. You have every single one of your guests rooting for the day to be amazing so you should just enjoy it!
