Bridget's Vows To Tyler:

I take you, Tyler, to be my husband. I can't believe I get to say that. I'm going to say it again. Tyler, in just a few minutes, you will be my husband!
Six months ago, we stood right here - well, right over there - in the freezing cold, and you asked me to marry you. Everyone asked if I was surprised. I was not. Almost immediately into our relationship, I knew you were my partner for life.

Falling in love with you is my most treasured memory. When I think back, every memory of that first year glows golden and practically sings. I fell in love with your tender heart, your insatiable curiosity, and your compassionate view of the world and its people. You're also a pretty handsome guy.

In the years since, we've taken great care of that love and of each other. For us, that has meant cheering each other on when we're reaching for our dreams, providing a compassionate and supportive place to fall when plans don't work out as expected, and then inspiring each other to create new dreams. Our partnership means we've found a home in each other, regardless of which borough we're living in, and how many dogs are running around us. It means sharing a sense of humor, and of awe and wonder. It also means being that source of humor or wonder when required.

Since the beginning, we've been committed to building a true and lasting partnership. Now, as we enter into marriage, everyone asks if I think everything will change. I do not. Things and places may come and go, but I will continue to choose you, every day, for the rest of my life. As your wife, I promise to cheer you on, for as long as I live. I promise to listen with compassion, and inspire your dreams, forever and ever. I will always be your home. You will always be my source of wonder. I love you, my husband-to-be.

You're an extraordinary person and I can hardly believe how lucky I am that you're going to be me my wife

I am in awe that I get to marry you, because on this miracle planet, in the immeasurable expanse of the cosmos, in all of the world, among the billions of people, throughout time, somehow we found each other and - in the time that I have to spend on this world I feel such gratitude for the gift that you have been my partner, and that you will be my wife.

Our partnership began in school and while living in NY, adopting Toby, traveling, changing jobs, we made a wonderful life for ourselves.

Bridget you set a high bar. And I will live up to it.
