Endless Summer Engagement Inspiration

Endless Summer Engagement Inspiration

via

Heartbreakingly, we know that summer must eventually come to an end (unless you live in Socal like we do - we still have lots of summer left!), but today's styled engagement shoot - sent over by Mary Costa Photography + Shindig Chic - celebrates the last bit of our fave season with lots of cute ideas for you to incorporate into your own shoot or wedding!

The ladies wanted to show off some of their very favorite things that make up a perfect summer day in LA! They tell us, Late summer is an amazing time for both fruit and flower alike - so that's where our inspiration came from. We took to the hills of Elysian Park, which is a great hidden gem just above Downtown LA with a killer view. For us, classic summer is bike rides, kites, popsicles & picnics. We wanted the shoot to have a playful feel but added our own rich spin to it with deep pink tones, a pop of black and wild berries. Our stand out DIY was the dip dyed kite which caught the light so nicely at sunset.

How cute is the "Powdered Sugar" dress by Sarah Seven? Perfect for your engagement photos!

Rain or shine, we're always up for a popsicle from Sweet Clementines!

And love this gorge skirt by Leanne Marshall.

Such a fun summer scene, right? If your engagement session is coming up soon, be sure to tell us a bit about it in the comments section below!

Thanks to the team for sharing!
